Yep. Totally agree. I applied because a few buddies went there.
My 2 oldest siblings graduated from USU and loved it. My sister was at BYU for a semester before she transferred to USU because she hated the Y. Funny because her kids all love the Y now and all want to go there even though she is a USU fan and her husband is a graduate of the U.
Moral of the story for me is that the Y is an amazing college but isn't for everyone. If you don't get in other universities will offer a great education.
