lay-up and then pass the ball. That should be a travel every time, but it gives great highlight reel material when it happens, since it usually results in a dunk.
It bothers me when people say it should be a block because the defender was moving. The defender is allowed to move with the offensive player if he has been in legal guarding position (both feet on floor facing defender) before the movement occurs. Any contact after that happens (aside from defenders slapping at the arms) should be a no-call or a charge. But I understand that we don't want the rules to get in the way of a game. These are just a few, oh there's also the over the back knock-out-of-bounds that should be called fouls, but instead are just awarded as out of bounds. I could go on and on, but I won't. This is enough I think.
