Like others have said, grades and DAT scores are much more important than where you have a degree from when applying to dental schools. I had classmates from suu, weber state, Utah state, Utah, and BYU from the state of Utah. IMO there is no question if he goes to BYU he will have the lowest gpa when he applies.
