My play of the game
3:05 to go, Gonzaga is down by 5. Anson Winder is driving and and gets the ball stripped by Pangos. The ball bounces to Wesley, who starts taking off with Pangos in front. It looks like a 2 on 1 fastbreak with Halford all alone to guard. The rest of the team is chasing trying to stop the fastbreak. Collinsworth sees Wesley grab the ball, and sprints after him, lunging at his left hand just as they pass midcourt. He pokes the ball directly to Halford, and the end result at the other end is a Collinsworth three point play (layup and 1). Huge swing, especially with the Gonzaga crowd going crazy with the steal and potential big fast break bucket. Probably a 5 point swing (or 6 point swing, if Pango had made a 3). The Zags were looking to close within 3 with 3 minutes to play, instead they end up down 8. Giving how difficult it has been for BYU to close games against big time opponents this season, my guess is the play would have been a huge momentum swing for Gonzaga and BYU would have wilted under the pressure. Instead, they were up 8 with 2:45 to play, and they barely hung on for the win.

Great game by BYU, you could tell they wanted this game more than Gonzaga, they played like a desperate team and just came out with so much hustle in the first half.
