5 Reasons to love Coach Rose this season
1. He is getting the best quality out of each of his players - Whether it's Bartley on defense and leaping over guys, or letting Halford bomb away, or getting Sharp in rotation to haul down more boards, he seems to know when to play each piece of the puzzle.

2. He lets his assistants coach the team in critical time outs. Rose delegates a lot to his assistants which 1) makes them better coaches for now and later, and 2) makes for better decisions from the coaching team.

3. He gets after his players "real time", then encourages them in a positive way. No stoic pose from the sidelines, if you screw up, you're going to know it with some finger thumping and then get the chance to watch someone else from the bench. But, you will get your shot again. Rose doesn't seem to lose faith in players that make mistakes, but allows them to learn and grow.

4. As the season progresses, his timing on switching defenses and when to call time outs has really excelled. I don't think Few was anticipating "small ball" after half time. Rose also has taken the wind out of the home crowd several times this year by burning a timeout before things got dire.

5. He has somehow figured out how to salvage a season with the loss of two players who figured to be in starring or starting roles. This is an incredibly fun team to watch and while the talents are on the floor, the symphony conductor is making great music with the instruments he's been dealt.

Hat's off to Dave Rose and thanks for a very entertaining season!
