I'm really starting to doubt #4.
The Seattle Seahawks were the NFL's most penalized team the last two years running. This season New England was the 6th most. Denver for a lot of penalties the season before.
It seems like penalties should correlate with losses, but I'm starting to wonder if the payoff (aggressiveness, whatever) outweighs the lost yards.
