And he has been doing this since he turned 12. He is a soccer referee on the weekends. He makes $17 a game, which actually ends up being $17 an hour, since each game is an hour. He'll do 4 to 5 games on Saturdays, so long as it doesn't interfere with his own soccer schedule.

He has been doing this for just over a year and currently has just over $2000 in the bank. It's a great job for him... he enjoys a ton. I'm sure he'll do this for a while. He also makes more money the older the kids are. Last fall he ref'd a couple of games were he was paid $21 and $25 for the game.
