A Tale of Two Teams...
It seems like BYU has finally come to terms with the idea that they are going to get a lot of questionable calls going against them. They play through it without worrying about the lack of a call after getting mugged, or getting a whistle for phantom bumps at the other end of the court.

It wasn't always the case. Our guys used to pout about how it wasn't fair - and it affected their game. The one thing that stood out the most to me after watching a replay of the game (when I already knew the outcome and was able to watch The Game without all the emotions getting in the way) was how well our players handled adverse situations. It's almost as if they've come to expect the refs to be wildly inconsistent and don't get caught up in the emotions of the ref's heavy presence.

I think it has made our team better for it.

Compare that to how the yewties are handling their recent loss. This came across my FB feed via one of my good friends who is a yewt fan:

"It’s a shame really. After weeks of anticipation, three men in striped jerseys decided to put their stamp on the game, and then do it over and over and over again."

My friend agreed that there were too many fouls but pointed out all the missed layups as the reason for the loss, not the refs.

I clicked on the link and found this embarrassing whine fest from the Daily Chronicle:
