It has been a long time since we've been so stocked on the offensive side of the
ball. Running back is deep, and will likely be deep for another 3 years. Quarterback drops off from THill, but will be deep over the next 4 years. Wide Receiver is ridiculously deep. We've got Kurtz, Matthews, Jurgens, Pearson, Blackmon, and the many new faces coming in. TE is in question. OLine returns a lot of experience and youth, and we got some new comers that could develop. Thank you coaching staff and Geoff Martzen for developing a future for our offense.

On the defensive side, I know there are a number of question marks. The positive is that we gave a lot of young players game time experience. I'd like to see Takitaki and Warner start off slightly better than where they ended the last season. From my grapevine, I hear Langi has to play smarter and more disciplined but has great talent. Hinds needs to loosen his hips. News has it that Morgan Unga is turning heads in winter training, which could be a great safety. I'm also hoping to see further development of talents like Preater and Davis at corner. Put some more pounds on Kai Nacua and his athleticism/football IQ could develop him into a scary safety. I liked what I saw from Tuiloma, Laulile, and Rowley at the end of the season. The truth is, IMO, we need DT type individuals at the defensive lineman positions because of the style of defense we play. We depend on blitzes to get to the quarterback and our Dline to plug the running lanes. I like Kaufusi, but he'd have to make a huge jump this next year to play well in that scheme on the Dline. The one person that I don't hear anything about, but I'd love to see make some noise is Jaterrius Gulley. I remember hearing how athletic and strong he is. I know he redshirted last year.

Anyways, there's a lot of positives right now. They need to stay hungry and enjoy putting in the work.
