I really think the 2015 receivers will be very capable of surpassing 2014's group, provided they stay relatively healthy. The top 6 guys imo:
80 catch caliber - Mitch Mathews 72 catches, 922 yards, 9 TD's in '14. I'm expecting Mitch to be a 1,000 yard clear go-to guy as a senior.
50 catch caliber - Nick Kurtz I expect him to replace Leslie's production. 6'6" silky smooth athlete... gonna be fun to watch.
30 catch caliber - Devon Blackmon He obviously had a hard time adjusting to Provo, but I think being more acclimated this year will do wonders for him. I expect him to build off his six catch performance against Cal and have a breakthrough season in '15.
30 catch caliber - Mitchell Juergens I really think this guy was pretty underrated last year. 28 catches, 424 yards, 4 TD's. He's a very good slot receiver, I expect more of the same in '15.
30 catch caliber - Terrenn Houk 21 catches, 241 yards, 2 TD's last year. I expect him to build off his solid junior year and be very good as a senior.
30 catch caliber - Colby Pearson I think this kid is very underrated. 16 catches, 270 yards, 3 TD's as a sophomore in limited action. He's a good athlete and a sure-handed guy that should continue to see lots of action in the slot and on the outside.
The rest Kurt Henderson, Josh Weeks, Akile Davis, Micah Simon. I really like the potential down the road for Weeks, Davis and Simon. All 3 should end up being quality receivers in the program.
