If you aren't familiar with it, it is something that costs a few bucks to gift another user "gold" status for a month, which comes with a few perks. Then when someone makes a really good post (highlight videos, etc), users can gift the poster gold. I'm not sure what features would be appropriate for cougarboard. On reddit they get access to a special subreddit, but it is mostly just a kind gesture of appreciation while supporting the website. Maybe it could disable ads, expand FO, special category, etc.
