...He is not particularly fast (like his dad) or athletic. He isn't particularly long (at 6'5" he is very average for a 2 guard) or strong. What he has accomplished has come from unwavering hard work and dedication. But because he lacks some of these intangibles, he is prone to getting shut down from time to time by great defenders. Gonzaga has had his number for a long time for the reasons discussed in the previous post.
What is most amazing about his scoring exploits is that he cannot consistently create is own shot (unlike Jimmer in college). He has to work VERY hard to run around screens that will free him up to shoot. He also doesn't have a great outside shot (3 point line and out) which also limits his options. But there he is, night in and night out putting up his 20. I tip my hat to the guy.
