Haws has had to face every year (X 2 games). I also think GU's coaches are the best BYU faces two times a year. They know him, they know his strengths and weaknesses. Don't under estimate Mark Fine. He's had to play Haws 7-8 times.
I do think other coaches out of conference think their own players can face Haws straight up (no double team and no specific strategy to take Haws out of rhythm with physical play) and not have to develop a specific strategy against him.
The coaches in the WCC might try to shut TH down, but their best player on D is no Gary Bell Jr.
The other part of the story is that GU is in Haws' head. That is not uncommon for certain players to struggle against one particular player or team.
