Teams can only nominate one player for each award. I bet the vote came down to Pangos vs. Haws and I think I would have voted for Pangos in that race too.

Obviously Wiltjer was Gonzaga's NOY nominee and BYU probably nominated KC as its DPOY.

Not that BYU couldn't have nominated KC for both POY and DPOY but with Haws as your career all-time leading scorer, you nominate him for POY too as a career thing.

Same with Gonzaga, they could have nominated Wiltjer for POY and NOY, but with Pangos as your all-time stud PG and emotional leader, you have to nominate him for something.
