I think this is also just the beginning of Snyder's coaching style...

I think he recognizes he is transforming this team to have a good defensive nucleus. I think this means that in the future he's going to get additional players that excel at the defensive end. That excites me, as I think it is proven that teams in the NBA that can play defense do better.
