three years to play two. Technically, he still has a year of eligibility and they are saying he's still on the team. That's my assumption anyway.

I could see a guy who loves football and BYU enjoying practicing with the team just to make the team better. It's basically what the walkons on the basketball team do (and many football walkons who will never play).
