It is highly unlikely that Utah has anyone on the roster that will be like
Kevin Durant, LeBron James, or Steph Curry. So no, Gobert isn't a superstar if that is what we're talking about.

But it doesn't look like Utah is too far off from being able to emulate teams like the Hibbert Pacers or this year's Atlanta Hawks, teams that don't have a true league superstar but have enough talent and important pieces at the right places that create a sum greater than the individual parts.

Snyder + Gobert + Favors + Hayward is a really good start. Exum will eventually be so much better than he is this year, even if he's never an all-star like you'd hope when using a pick that high on him. Burks is a better player than Joe Ingles. Hood could be a solid 3/D guy off the bench. Burke is improving. They'll add another lottery pick. And have significant cap room. Dennis Lindsey is getting work done.
