Here are a few things that this season has taught me:
1) BYU has been mentally tough. Considering the injuries they've had to deal with, and some real disappointing losses, they keep coming back.
2) This team plays a great game of team ball.
3) Unlike the last few years, this team has continued to improve all year. The last two years, they peaked mid-season.
4) Coach Rose and staff know what they are doing. Amazing job adjusting for the changing dynamics of team composition and player development.
5) Individual players have continued to improve. While this has not been everyone, key contributors have improved.
6) Despite the lack of an inside game, we've done remarkably well. Happily, as of late, there's been some life showing in this area.
7) Related to number 1, these guys come to battle. Because of all the difficulties and close games we've had this year, this team is well prepared for tournament play. That's no guarantee, but it's a good sign.
