in the top five highest GPAs in their high school. Not top 5%, but top five students. (Note, I can't remember if was 16% or 18%, hence the range). That's interesting to me, of course I don't know what that percentage was in years past, but many incoming BYU students tend to be very smart, at least book smart, and academically capable.
