I grew up in Utah and lived in Chicago. I still am fine with how Texas reacts...
because there is so little equipment to deal with ice and snow and nobody really knows how to drive in it. Overly cautious and overly fond of their brakes, that's a bad recipe. Unless a case can be made for Texas to invest in more plows and real salt then the few storms a year will continue to shut it down. I'd rather the people who don't know how to drive on snow and ice stay home anyway.
