BYU is now the consensus #1 college team according to the three main Rugby magazines, Rugby Today, Goff Rugby, and This is American Rugby. Goff had BYU at #2 since the beginning of the season, but the win over SMC and Life's problems handling Davenport convinced them to move BYU up to #1.

An interesting factoid:

While the magazines all have BYU ranked at the top, there is no agreement to the order of the next three. They are shared equally between Cal, St. Mary's, and Life. Each is ranked #2, #3, and #4 once in all three magazines. You could say there is a three-way tie for second place.
