Valve and HTC announced a VR headset and controller this week at GDC/MWC. The exciting part is Valve's tracking solution (called Lighthouse) works in a 15x15 foot space at sub-millimeter accuracy and can track any number of HMD, controllers or any other peripherals. HTC's HMD is supposed to come out this holiday season. I expect more hardware manufacturers to announce headsets that will work with Lighthouse in the coming months. Your move Occulus!
