I'm not missing anything. I never can taste the bay leaf when it's there
and I don't notice when it's not. Maybe I could tell if this was the recipe:
Boil some water
Add 30 Bay Leaves
Let simmer for 1 hour
and I compared it to:
Boil some water.
But I don't eat food that bland.
