It was basically a Pinto with a 2.3 L 4 banger, in a hatchback pseudo Mustang chassis. How I wished I had the 5.0 liter V8 version! It was a rear drive car and the driveshaft rattled the whole car above 60 mph, unless you replaced the U-joints on a bi-monthly basis. It was horrible to drive in the winter with all the weight in the front and drive wheels in the rear.
That car basically only went about 20K miles without a major engine issue - blown head gaskets, worn knocking camshafts, transmission issues, oil burning on the exhaust.
That car was always an adventure.
