At that age they are getting a feel for running around and being watched.
Not much teamwork or great skill will be on display. The ball will pop out of the scrum and someone will lead the pack down the field after it. So, give each kid a ball and teach them to run down the field keeping the ball in front of them. This is how most goals will be scored. They will keep kicking and chasing it until hopefully it goes in the goal. Once they have that down, introduce the slight change in direction. As before, this involves keeping the ball in front of them but if they can actually change the direction of the ball slightly, they will guide it into the goal most of the time instead of 80% of the balls being kicked across the end line by the offense without a defender in sight.

Congratulations! You have just gone undefeated in kindersoccer.
