In Polish, it would be pronounced tar-chev-ski
It's just been English-ized. And Krzyzewski isn't really "Sha-shefski" in Polish, but the "rz" sound in Polish is a difficult one for non-Slavic-language speakers to say, so it's been English-ized as well.
