In Northern Utah it's well known that "Little Sahara" is the place to be
on Easter Weekend. I've heard estimates of 20-25k people in the area on that weekend. * I don't know if that's true but I do know how big of a weekend it is growing up in Tooele county.

As one who hates crowds and does all I can to avoid unnecessary crowds I'm curious why people go out of their way to be around such a huge crowd? I'm trying to understand the psychology of that decision. It seems like going any weekend but Easter weekend would be the time to go.

What am I missing? Why go knowing you'll be fighting for RV space, land to recreate on etc... I'm really interested to know.
