In the old days, Utah playing in a high profile game was almost a win/win

A Ute win would help bring notoriety and respectability to the conference (WAC/MWC) that desperately needed it, thereby "helping" all conference members. Of course a Ute loss brought its own reward.

Today, I see no reason to cheer for them. I am happy to see them lose every game.
