I should have been more clear.
There was nothing about Android that I found difficult. I can figure out anything tech-related very easily. When I say simple or just works, I mean in terms of giving you the best user experience out of the box. I found with Android that you had too many options or could customize too much. For example, on an iPhone, the camera just works to take the best picture automatically. On the Samsung Galaxy S4, you technically had a better camera, but there were 30+ settings you could change and the default picture wasn't as good as Apple's. If I see something I just want to quickly take a picture of, I don't want to have to go through 30+ settings. I'm not saying you have to customize each one of those things, but the default on an iPhone was better than the default on Android in most cases. But that is just me. If you like customization, then Android is clearly the way to go.
