I like to go to see how the young players are looking--who is showing promise.
But I can't argue that there wasn't much excitement in this one. As much as I appreciated having Stewart come back to help the team practice, it took a lot away from the 11-on-11 drills to know that all that nice passing he did had no bearing on what will happen this fall. That did take a lot away from the scrimmage.
But it's still football, and I'll take it.
