From that point on Duke outscored Zags 13 - 1. I was expecting Gonzaga to wear down Duke but Duke proved to be the tougher team. Winslow especially played with a toughness that Gonzaga could not match. That Pangos was all but neutered also showed how strong Duke's guard play actually is.

A Duke vs Kentucky is the dream matchup. Looks likely that is what it will be.

One last observation. It did not matter in the outcome but how could it be that the Gonzaga failed to play for a two-for-one in the last minute of the first half? That was a noticeable goof. A more debatable goof was not substituting out Karnowski sooner in the 2nd half. From my lazy-boy I think the coach kept him in too long even when he was ineffective.
