IMO, not going for the 2-for-1 at the end of the half was no bid deal
Gonzaga had crawled back into the game, and I think Few just wanted to run the offense and not force up a quick shot and have Duke finish the half with momentum back.

Strangely, I came away from the game thinking Gonzaga was the better team. Or maybe it was just Gonzaga was so much deeper than Duke. Even with that depth, Karnowski in foul trouble changed the game completely. I thought Coach K doubling on Karnowski was a huge factor. That was something BYU did not do in the WCC Championship and was a big mistake IMO. Coach K recognized everything Gonzaga does in the half court centers around Karnowski. His unique size down low and ability to pass out of the post is Bogut-esque.

Finally, I thought Gonzaga lacked poise which was also a surprise since Pangos is supposed to be the guy that controls tempo. But he had three awful turnovers in the half court offense and no assists. Much less surprising is the teams making it to the Final Four all have Final Four pedigrees. Their coaches know how to get their teams ready and manage the game. Their players are used to being in big games.
