Tayler Katoa, (6' 2.5", 210) sophomore QB from Layton High, indicated he has been promised a scholarship from BYU. He also has an offer from USU and Utah. Utah, as usual, offered after BYU. Tayler hasn't committed to anyone yet.
Tayler's dad was a star TE at Ricks, but had a career ending injury after he transferred to BYU. Tayler's mom was a BYU track athlete. A couple of his older sisters are college level volleyball athletes. I hope Tayler chooses BYU. If it doesn't work out at QB, he could play multiple other positions.
