What might be the biggest issue is, how much does Tiger care? You have to wonder how much passion he still has for the game, it's possible he just burned out. We know that he stopped working as hard as he used to, which says to me he lost at least some of the passion. Some reports are leaking out that he has regained his edge and work ethic, like it said in the article posted in the OP.

But we will have to wait and see if he has the edge back, and even if he has the edge back it's possible he may not do much at Augusta because he could still be rusty. But even if he's not in it at the end, if he has the edge back,I think we will see signs of it at Augusta.
