It's just a little ironic that there is a fairly large contingent of CBers

who criticize BYU assistant coaches in various sports for their lack of experience. They say that BYU should be in a position to hire more experienced coaches. But there was very little complaining about Pope when he was hired in spite of his lack of coaching experience.
