The biggest problem with the movies was $$$$

more so with the Hobbit than LOTR. Three movies to cover a book that was shorter than one of the sections of the LOTR? Two movies should have been the limit. I am a die hard Tolkein fan and I found the last movie in the Hobbit series laughable...terrible movie. As my kids have said over and over again....it was a total money grab.
