It is better than the Friends Only function because you can easily select who you want to exclude from seeing any post versus having to select each and every one. It is kind of a very large FO list, without the administrative effort. See a power tool? Use the reciprocal ignore button.

What better way to isolate some power tool than to exclude him from seeing any post you make. I can ignore manually, so I don't use the ignore button much except when power tool starts stalking me via boardmail (wasting my time). Otherwise, it is easy - just see who posts and don't read it - kind of like Jay Drew writing for the Tribune...It is much more satisfying to know that they can't see anything that I have written.
