Besides install speed the kickstarter ones will also charge faster since
they charge at 1 amp max and the outlets look to be following the USB spec of 500 mA.
Personally I'm not satisfied with either option. One is too slow, the other while faster is still lacking amperage for the more power hungry devices and imo you need at least two usb ports.
