The first time I watched Better Off Ted I wasn't a fan either.

My wife insisted that I give it another try, and I'm glad I did. It was similar to Arrested Development for me. Both shows use a type of humor that gets better when you get to know the characters. It took me a few episodes to really get into Better Off Ted, but I really enjoyed the series as a whole.
