I just kept thinking over and over how stupid Batman was. Kill a guy or even don't save him and you can quite possibly prevent thousands of other people from dying. Is he so dumb that he can't see that it is better for one man to perish when he is a psychopath than a whole bunch of innocent people dying. It bothered me throughout the entire film and made me kind of hope that Batman's naivety allowed for the Joker to win. I will say that Heath Ledger's Joker was absolutely magnificent.
