Has the SLC media types asked that question to Bronco

or do they continue to throw softball questions at the head coach?

Based on his record as a Head coach, from 2005 to now.
2005: 6-6
2006: 11-2
2007: 11-2
2008: 10-3
2009: 11-2
2010: 7-6
2011: 10-3
2012: 8-5
2013: 8-5
2014: 8-5
2015: ???

So in 10 years we see that Bronco had 5 great years (his threshold of success). 5 years of not matching his own defined success. Not sure what year people can say Bronco didn't have "his" recruits...so with his recruits, record would of been better? If anything, the past few seasons shows that Bronco "recruits" weren't better and that his management failed to even meet his own standard, except for year 2011.

Like you mentioned in your post about coaching, staff and leaderhip we seen from 2010 to now, we see a major drop in results. Put Bronco in another program with that same record and he would of been fired last year.

I can appreciate the finer things to make things better, but based on the record so far as BYU HC, Bronco is 50-50...that isn't impressive no matter how one slices things. By his own defined standard, Bronco can't be pleased with his record as a head coach. The buck stops with him, he can't pawn it off on others, he simply has to OWN what his record is.

Let's see how 2015 will be, now with his recruits and his offensive crew in tact. Also add a better long term strength and conditioning system in place. One thing is very certain, Bronco HAS to stop this trend of 8-5 and during this year, he can't give any excuses. 10 years as a head coach and his football record has to change.
