He was higher up in HR and was at a Houston-based company, so plenty of people from all backgrounds and types. Anyway, so it's MLK day and he decides that it'd be a great gesture to send an email with MLK's biography.

He decides to lift the text that was in Wikipedia at the time, without reading it. Sends it to all US based employees. Done.

Soon, he starts to get emails from random employees 'WTH?', 'How could you?', etc.

He decides to read what he sent and it did go through his personal and public life and it was all good until the end where it said something to the effect of '...and he was a serial adulterer'.

He had some major cleanup work to do for quite some time and eventually left the company, partly over this.
