I read the summary from the OKC game tonight. They played absolutely terrible
defense. Yeah they scored alot, but they allowed Dallas to shoot over 61%. That's insane. Defense wins games. This quote from Kanter sums up nicely why I'm glad he's not in Utah anymore, "I think we just got beat on a lot of pick-and-rolls, and I think we just have to work on it," Kanter said.
He seriously is just like Boozer. Gets awesome offensive stats but can't play defense if his life depended on it. Opposing teams know that and are going to continue to run the pick and roll his way. I remember watching Boozer in Chicago and teams did the same thing to him. It got so bad that Chicago ended up benching him in the fourth quarter in close games because they knew he was such a huge liability. Kanter has great upside and potential, but until he actually commits to playing defense he's worthless. Or as Ricky Bobby would say, "He's worth about as much as a velvet painting of two dolphins getting it on."
