Brendan Bailey is a basketball Class of 2016 recruit that preps at American Fork High School. The swingman is the son of former Jazzman and 13 year NBA pro Thurl Bailey. He started as a freshman for the Cavemen and averaged 5.7 points and 1.7 rebounds per game. As a sophomore he became a three point specialist connecting on 50 three point attempts (1.92/game). Between his sophomore and junior seasons he grew four inches which resulted in a position change from shooting guard to small forward. His junior season he averaged 14.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 0.9 steals per game and was named to the 5A third team all-state. Comfortable and confident on the wing or in the post he is currently working on driving the lane and becoming more of an inside presence.
