To be completely honest...

We could probably come up with the 5k (borrow it from family or something) and then repay it back after we sell our current home. Even taking that 5k our of our windfall, we would still have a nice chunk of change in the bank (probably more than we have right now).

I don't want to though... for a myriad of reasons (pride, being underwater on a house, etc).
