How much can they increase pricing before the "cord cutters" feel like they may be better off without the service, or decide to switch to a competitor? The last time they increased pricing they had a steep increase in cancelled subscriptions. Their price has to continue to differentiate them from their competitors in order for them to retain their core customer base.
I like their Netflix original shows, but I doubt they move the needle very much when it comes to subscriptions. There are too many good alternatives to shows like House of Cards and Daredevil.
