Hired a guy on craigslist today to come dig some tree holes with a 30" auger
We have a really hard adobe clay soil, and digging is no fun.
He charged $200 an hour, but in 1 hour he dug 35 holes for us. With a shovel, pick axe, and breaking bar, I bet I could have done 1 hole that size in an hour.
Verdict- that was so worth the money...
