I wanted to do it myself but my wife suggested getting a couple of estimates just to see what they'd charge us.
After the painters explained everything they do, including pressure washing the house, applying five coats of paint, and painting the eaves and soffits, I decided it was best to pay them to do it because the amount of money I would save by doing it myself wasn't worth the amount of time it would take me to do it right.
