I agree, and for me it has to be made with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup
Some places make it with chocolate ice cream, which makes it not near as good. Baskin Robbins makes a pretty good shake. Whenever I need a milk shake/malt fix, I go there. I can make sure it's made the way I want and it's drinkable.
