i've ripped about 300 movies and putting them through handbrake to condense...setting them up to run on plex is next.

there are a lot of CBers who are really into plex and have some good advice on how/what to do.

About 1.5 GB per DVD, about 6 GB per Blue Ray. I'd get a 1 TB drive so you have

Any old hard drive will work fine. No need for NAS unless you're not hooking it
